Another cringe trend is bragging about skipping opening acts. People proudly post about only showing up for the headliner, skipping awesome opening bands. You are wasting your money and just flexing your musical ignorance. For example, I had mediocre expectations for Taylor Acorn after hearing her studio albums, but live, they absolutely killed it, and the guitarist was going so crazy he almost knocked her off the stage.
Thanks to today's music industry and streaming, our brains are so fried that if a track doesn't hook us in 15 seconds, it goes in the trash. You have to learn how to listen to music. I had the same experience with Noahfinnce - at first, his synthetic vocals didn't click with me, and now he is one of my favorite artists. Do yourselves a favor and give niche creators a chance. And if anyone says I am doing this shoutout just to clout-chase, I will personally come over and permanently glue f*cking spiders to your ceilings. That is a threat.
